Sabak Bernam District Museum is located in the town of Sabak Bernam Market Street, adjacent to the building and facing County Library District Sabak Bernam mosque with an area of approximately 1135 square feet. Generally, this Sabak Bernam District Museum and heritage themed historical information relating to agriculture and fisheries in the district of Sabak Bernam Selangor in particular and in general. It is as one of the government’s efforts in promoting the influx of tourists in the state and make it one of the superior central source of reference to the present generation and the next.
Chronology of various agricultural activities carried out by Sabak Bernam District residents especially displayed. Among them include the cultivation of upland rice and paddy fields, palm trees, palm trees, bananas, coffee, rubber and cocoa. Through the available exhibition space, visitors can also see a diverse collection of traditional agriculture that was once used by people at the time like goat nails, sickles, rubber machinery, rice fan, wooden mortar and others.
Besides agriculture, the fisheries sector is also part of an important component of economic strengthening Selangor. Therefore, Sabak Bernam District Museum also showcases the history and chronology of early fishing shows and traditional fisheries collections used by early people in the state.
